As we keep on changing how B2B businesses get paid, and improving their cash flows, Upflow recognizes that its part of a wider ecosystem. We want to be a positive force on society and the environment. We want the world to be slightly better with us than without us.

We acknowledge that this is a long-term effort and commitment. Aligned with our “small batch” Operating Principle, we start small & humble and keep steering, iterating along the way. We do not intend to lecture anyone but to contribute positively at our level, doing our part. Before implementing in any action or change, we believe in the importance of education and awareness on topics that are often ignored, or unknown. We’re learning how to become a sustainable company.

As of September 2024, here is what we are doing to be a positive force in the world.

Prioritizing Vegetarian Options

During our team lunches and regular team events, we prioritize vegetarian options to raise awareness on the impact of meat-based meals, and reduce the carbon footprint of our activities.

Sourcing with Sustainability in Mind

We introduced a procurement policy from our vendors that encourages all vendors to provide their carbon footprint and prioritizes partnerships with environmentally responsible suppliers.

♻️

Reducing our Waste

We implemented strict recycling protocols in all offices, ensuring proper waste segregation, and transitioned to reusable tableware and other sustainable office supplies to minimize disposable waste, promoting a culture of sustainability.
